Posters of lost pets, tacked to trees, store bulletin boards or mailboxes, always grab at our hearts. We breathe silent thanks that our precious pets are safe at home, and send up a prayer of hope that every lost animal will find the way back to its worried owner. Unless the lost pet on the flyer is our own, we usually don’t think too much more about it, until we see another such plea.
